aiyah, preparation for the History paper today was the calmest history paper i've ever taken. i was so calm, so prepared.. so tranquil within. and i meant it as a good thing. HOWEVER, i had no time/ forgot to include this paragraph which is so crucial in attaining a higher level analysis grade! and i was still memorising it yesterday, the day before, the day before yesterday and.. yes, you get the point.

SUPERFICIALLY, THE CONTAINMENT POLICY OF THE MARSHALL PLAN AND THE TRUMAN DOCTRINE WAS SUCCESSFUL AS IT ACHIEVED ITS AIMS OF CURBING COMMUNISM IN AREAS WHERE IT OCCUPIED. HOWEVER, THE MARSHALL PLAN WAS A FAILURE AS IT DEEPENED THE RIFT BETWEEN THE US AND THE SU WITH SUSPICION, MISTRUST AND HOSTILITY. THE CREATION OF THE NORTH ATLANTIC TREATY ORGANISATION (NATO), A MILITARY ALLIANCE BETWEEN 12 DEMOCRATIC WESTERN ZONES BROUGHT THE COLD WAR INTO A MILITARY STANCE.
